L’associazione IRIS – Istituto di Ricerca Internazionale per lo Sviluppo opera ormai da diversi anni nel campo della progettazione comunitaria occupandosi di gestire giovani inseriti nelle attività di mobilità internazionale per svolgere tirocini formativi all’estero e provenienti da diversi paesi europei.
In particolare nel periodo estivo da circa 5 anni organizziamo tirocini formativi per giovani nel settore del turismo (cuochi – camerieri – animazione - reception).
Il tirocinio, della durata di 3 mesi ha inizio il 1° giugno fino alla fine di agosto.
I giovani tirocinanti sono al termine di un percorso formativo turistico, gastronomico alberghiero con precedenti esperienze lavorative nel proprio paese, per cui hanno già maturato una buona esperienza nel settore.
Le attività di tirocinio saranno costantemente monitorate dai responsabili di IRIS che si adopereranno affinché lo stesso possa essere svolto nel migliore dei modi.

The training will be held at the rooms equipped dell'IISS "A. De Pace" of Lecce, is aimed at adults / and looking for their first job and / or rehabilitation work.

IRIS - International Research Institute for Development, promoting in the Community Programs Manager and Partner in the Project 20 OUR STRATEGY is in line with Europe Community funding for the Citizens Programme, Action 1, measure 2.1
As part of that project IRIS is identifying people who will attend the 20th European Meeting to be held in Warsaw (Poland) 17 to 21 July 2012.
The experience and objectives of the project are:
1. Promoting social inclusion through the active participation of minorities in social life.
2. Strengthen methods to simulate the interaction and active discussion on certain areas of the European Strategy for 2020 that affect daily life.
4. Encourage dialogue between citizens and institutions, involving the European population in EU policies and their implications.
5. Reinvigorating European citizenship.
6. Ensure proper monitoring of citizens' opinions on the EU side.
7. Bridging the institutional gap between citizens and the European Union.
8.Individuare ways to promote the involvement of vulnerable social groups in society.

IRIS diventa Nodo Locale della rete pugliese antidiscriminazione |

 IRIS - Istituto di Ricerca Internazionale per lo Sviluppo è stata ufficialmente riconosciuta dalla Regione Puglia e dall’Unar (Ufficio Nazionale Antidiscriminazioni Razziali) istituito presso la Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, nodo locale n. 8 della rete pugliese Anti-discriminazione.
Nel 2011 è infatti entrata a far parte della RETE PUGLIESE DEI NODI LOCALI ANTIDISCRIMINAZIONE(D.G.R. del 27 luglio 2010 n. 1764 e D.G.R. 29 MARZO 2011 N.592) Pertanto, a breve, sarà attivo presso la sede dell’associazione a Leverano in via G. Verdi n. 10, uno sportello con funzioni informative, di orientamento, ascolto, consulenza legale, mediazione linguistica, mediazione dei conflitti, percorsi di conciliazione.

IRIS is association since 2006 years and have a mission to enrich the culture of the people of the different region by increasing the proffesional intercourse between other citizens of the world by bringing cultural knowledges to the region.
Different task of IRIS works are:
- Community Planning;
- Management of community projects, national, regional, provincial and local;
- Cultural Initiatives;
- Activities' and vocational training;
- Activities' information and awareness on social issues;
- Home projects in Leonardo da Vinci;
- Partnerships.
From its constitution it has taken care to put into effect various projects of cultural exchange with Spain, Romania, Greece and Germany, and is partner in various training projects POR-Puglia and in various community projects such as transnational partners: AGIS, INTI, YOUTH, HEALTH.
The staff of professional people which the association is constituted will take care to supply providing consultancy services and to implement local initiatives also in the various cultural and scientific sectors using appropriate financing programs.
Service of consulting
IRIS Association has mainly an advisory service for community programs such as Daphne, Leopardo da Vinci, P. Pilot Mobility ', Socrates, Tempus, E_TEN, HEALTH, AGIS,..
Moreover it has taken care, through a team of experts made up of psychologists, psychiatrists, educators, activities to implement 'guidance and skills assessment on behalf of other Associations and Institutions National and International Public agencies.
